I am a passionate educator, I have been a reception class teacher at The Priory Preparatory School, Lekki for over 6 years, I have worked in the field of child care for 9 years with experience in Houston, Texas, USA and Lagos, Nigeria

 

I graduated from the University of Lagos with a B.sc (Hons.) in Geophysics, Heriot Watt University in Edinburg, Scotland with a master’s of Business Administration, North American Montessori Center, Canada with a Diploma in Montessori Early Childhood Teachers training program and from Council of professional Recognition, USA with a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credentials.

Safety and Security

Knowing your child is safe is crucial to your peace of mind

At TPSL, we have consulted with experts to create a Safety and Security Program that feature:

  • Infant, child and adult CPR and First Aid-trained staff
  • Separate (Boo-Boo) room to address medical needs
  • Strict background checks on all staff
  • Secured entrances with restricted visitor access
  • Closed-circuit cameras that are continuously monitored by staff
  • Password-protected Internet viewing of classrooms, playgrounds and the cafeteria

Based on years of experience, we have designed classrooms to create an environment where education and safety are priorities. Our developmentally appropriate classrooms feature:

  • Separate, clean storage for each child’s personal belongings
  • Child-sized hand washing sinks
  • Separate children’s restrooms
  • Direct access to fenced-in, gated playgrounds

We take great care in providing an environment where your child can thrive

We take pride in our clean, state-of-the-art facilities. Our trained staff practices disease prevention techniques, to protect the health and safety of all children in our care, such as:

  • Disinfecting classrooms, equipment and toys multiple times daily
  • Teaching and observing proper hand washing techniques. We even have child-size sinks in each classroom
  • Preparing all food away from the classrooms in a commercial-grade kitchen
  • Wearing disposable gloves to prevent the spread of germs when preparing food, and while attending to the sanitary needs of children

We never undervalue the importance of playtime for social and physical development

Outdoor time is all about exploring our natural environment, developing physical skills and enhancing brain growth. Components include:

  • Large separate playgrounds designed specifically for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children
  • Play equipment built to meet Consumer Product Safety Commission guidelines
  • Supervised free play to promote physical fitness and development
